I’m back with another edition of Stuff You Need. Here’s the latest list of things that are worth your attention.
Bedhead Sugar Dust, Invisible Micro-texture Root Powder. This product is brand new from Tigi as part of their Candy Fixations line and, holy crap, it’s the real deal. If you want volume and texture, sprinkle in a little of this fine dust and *poof* – just like magic, your hair is full and easy to style.
I first learned of The Face Shop at H-Mart, a Korean superstore in the ‘burbs of Chicago. It’s a Korean face and body care store that aesthetically reminds me a bit of the Body Shop. Anyhow, I absolutely love their mask sheets. There are several different versions of these masks, which consist of a face-shaped sheet soaked with a skin nourishing solution. I’ve tried several and they always leave my skin feeling dewy and super soft.
Finally got a chance to see Vidal Sassoon: The Movie. I love documentaries and, while this one was a bit slow moving at times, I really enjoyed it. Vidal Sassoon completely modernized the way that hair is cut and styled. It’s pretty fascinating and if you like hair and fashion, I think you’ll appreciate this film. Right now, it’s available to watch instantly on Netflix.
Sainsbury’s Revive Energising Effervescent tablets are my new go-to vitamin when I feel a bit run down. You just drop a tablet into a full glass of water, let it effervesce, and enjoy. They dissolve better than the vitamin packets I’m used to and you can add a lot more water without it tasting watered down. The down side is that they are from England. Why do I always love what’s harder to come by?
If your hair is damaged, Loreal Profesionnel’s Absolut Repair Cellular Masque is going to be your new bff. I recommend this product to all my highlighted clients. Just apply it to towel-dried hair and leave on for 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse. Your hair will immediately feel silkier and more manageable. Go ahead, try it. I dare you. You’ll thank me later.by
